The Lost Locket of Lewes

“This was a delightful read! The author combined a magical tale with the most fascinating history lesson to captivate any reader of any age. (I certainly let my imagination run off with the main characters to the 4th of July 1893.) Great care to the historical material provided after the story was evident. Fact from Fiction was spot on and I’m sure readers will appreciate learning how the facts influenced the story. Adding Evaporating Peaches, Muskrat Stew, and Pirates in Lewes to the end of the book was creativity at its best. The illustrations are absolutely wonderful and add additional life to the tale. Kudos for adding the Learn More section. ..a wonderful tool to keep the magic going. BRAVA!”
